Sil'fer is argueabley one of the main characters in the game. She is primarily looking for her sister Sofia, who she believes was kidnapped by Break. Sil'fer lost her memory of recent events after Break was forced to stab her in the chest with a large spike. She grew up alongside Ino'lis, Kranz and Kylria on the P2 ship. The three remain friends through the CARD fighting. Sil'fer is unsure of her skills, but tries hard to be an optimist about the situation. She also likes to study the martial arts to aid her in her hunting ability.
Sil'fer learns that she is the reason her beloved sister Sofia was killed, after regaining her memory of the incident. One day, being suspicious of Break, with whom Sofia was having a relationship, she followed them. They were going to the area of the Great Shadow, a place especially infected with The Germ. Break and Sofia had brought the antidote for themselves. However, they had not been expecting Sil'fer to follow them. The three were infected, and for some reason, Break had to use Sofia's antidote on Silfer. Sofia died on the spot, due to her infection. Sil'fers suspicion ruined Break's life, and killed her sister.

Saligun

Saligun used to be a top teacher at the Hunters' Acadamy before the CARD fighting started. She trained Viviana Graves and Memoru. Saligun is a level headed humanoid who fights for what she believes in. She genuinly cares about her students and takes steps to be sure that Viviana and Memoru do not attack eachother during the CARD fighting. She tries to help repair their broken friendship.

Teifu

Teifu is the much abused submissive butler for the Graves family. He allows Viviana to take out all of her frusterations on him. Despite her terrible treatment of him, he still seems to care about her a lot, and wishes her well all the time. He is proud of her progress, even if sometimes it is measured by the scars and dents she leaves in him during her rages. He does not seem to have any motives of his own, and is very emotional. During fights, he generally acts cowardly and suggests running away, calling for back up, or dodgy excuses.

Orland

Orland is a quiet HUmar, who claims to not be good at talking. As a child, he was somewhat cocky, but also greatly admired strong hunters. He had a sense of hero-worship, which his friend Break did not approve of. Something divided the two former friends onto different sides of the battlefield.

Ino'lis

Ino'lis is a very fancy girl, who loves to wear pretty things. However, Pioneer 2 rules do not allow accessorization of the FOmarl outfit while on duty. She also buys artifacts probably illegally taken from the natural resources of Ragol, something the Arkz are against. She maintains a crush on Kranz the RAmar, although he does not notice her as much as she would like. Ino'lis was solicited to join the Arkz by Creinu. She played along with their scheme in order to make Kranz notice her. Unfortunatly, her plan backfired and the Arkz invaded the P2 CARD lab, and killed Kranz. However, this attack also exposed the general area of the location of R-Base to the Hunters.

Glustar

Glustar loves to gamble. Betting and games are his preferred topic. He used to be wild and wasteful of all his money, before he met Stella the RAcaseal. His feelings for her led him to be more responsible, and set a goal for himself and his money. It is his great desire to build a School for hunters on the surface of Ragol, along with Stella. He has been saving for this for a long time. It is later found out that he is the information leak to the Arkz. Glustar was being paid off to deliver secret Hunter info.

Viviana Graves

Viviana is the "Daughter" of Matha Graves, who was first met on the quest "The Graves Butler". However, Viviana is a newman, and Matha was human. This leaves her parentage a mystery...because even if the father was a newman, she would be a half-breed. Otherwise, she was created in a lab as all newmans are and adopted by Matha.
Viviana comes across as spoiled, argumentative and somewhat arrogant. However, far worse then any of her other qualities is her abusive nature. She physically and emotionally abuses the family's submissive android butler Teifu. She beats him, techs him, and likes to tie him up and also frequently has him hung, to relieve her own frusterations. Fortunatly, androids are more difficult to kill then humans, but he still shows the physical and emotional marks of her abuse.
At the Hunters Acadamy she was trained by the HUcaseal Saligun. While there, she met and was best friends with Memoru the FOnewearl. Before their training was complete, Memoru suddenly ran away from the acadamy after becoming enemies with Viviana. They have been fighting ever since.

Rel'mitos, although he looks like a child is actually by far the oldest character in the game. He must be over one hundred years old. He is the father of Great Sword Zoke Miyama, who died in the ruins after freeing the family android, Shino, in the quest Seek My Master. As an old man, he trained Break and Orland in the art of hunting in the quest Blue Star Memories. Because he is taking anti-aging drugs meant for Newman, he appears very young, although, they are having side effects on his health. The government has used his membership in the CARD lab to help spy on Arkz activity.

Stella

Stella is a defective battle model humanoid. She was tossed aside due to the fact that she would never be fully functional. While she was being trained, the trainers were very cruel to her, and it is implied that she went somewhat crazy. This impairment can't be fixed. This might also be why she says "Nyah" frequently. Only one of her teachers was kind.

Kranz

Kranz is the center of a love triangle between Ino'lis and Kylria. He is daring, brash and somewhat oblivious. He also seems light-hearted and cheerful, always ready to go defend what he thinks is right. Ino'lis covets his attention, but most of the time he seems to bungle around too much to notice her efforts, much to her dismay. Kranz is attempting to find capsule recordings and any other evidence his father Blitz may have left behind.
As events progress, the Arkz launch an attack against the P2 CARD lab, in an effort to stop the spread of the Germ. The hunters try to fight them off, but they manage to plant a bomb anyway, to destroy the CARD chamber. To prevent further and possibly fatal damage to P2 itself, Kranz gets in the way and raises his own sheilds to stop the force of the blast. This action kills him. Although the Arkz are extremely anti-clone in their views, it is with their aid that Kranz is restored. Because brain-scans are so detailed, the fully grown clone of Kranz posesses all of his memories, right up until the time of his last scan before he died. The clone of Kranz is essentially the same person, and he does not realize what he is, although the other people aboard the P2 do.
*Kranz is only cloned to find out what is hidden in Blitz's message capsules. The capsules require the presence of both Kylria and Kranz to be able to be read back.

Kylria

Kylria seems to be a quiet sort. She is calm and reserved as she searches for her trainer, Blitz. Her deceased mother was harsh and strict with her, so most of her childhood she was afraid. However, what little affection her mother did show, let her know what it was like to be happy. When her mother died suddenly, Blitz appeared in her life to teach her the ways of hunting. She later discovered that she is the Sister of Kranz, and Blitz is their father.

The most notable thing about this character is that he cannot speak at all. He just emits various buzzing sounds and feedback noises. His thoughts are made clear through his actions, and what he writes. He also uses the aid of a small servant robot which he keeps with him against its will. It is mysterious as to why he hasn't been repaired or aquired some other type of device which would allow him to speak properly, as surely the technology exists.

His servant robot is afraid of him, it fears he may become violent, and claims he is unpredictable. Guykild appears to dislike other humanoids he comes into contact with, and seems to have an over-all agressive personality despite the fact that he can't speak. He is also reported to be a very old battle model of android, which may have given him those traits. He dislikes music.
