Bukle can be found hanging around outside Tenora Works. For some reason Ethan gets his name wrong a lot, or forgets it, which pesters Bukle. Bukle is somewhat flighty, and likes talking about rogues. He later claims that Gawik agrees to train him, and tells you more about Gawik's past. Buckle also likes talking about nanoblasting, but Ethan doubts his nanoblast would be very impressive. (which is a false assumption because everyone's nanoblast looks about the same regardless of the original persons' size)

Emun Ohka runs a mine on Moatoob. There is always a shortage of workers for mines, so she's looking to recruit. Ethan won't go (he's already employed) so she relates about how a dishonest miner is stealing away possible workers, and that she may have to close the mine. This other dishonest owner is using shady tactics or ro rogue behavior to try and thwart honest miners. Ethan tries to keep her spirits up and encourages her throughout the plot. You actually meet the Dishonest Miner Woman , and convince her to eventually change her ways. Emun notices her bad compitition is fading at the end, and cheers up.

Faori is a mixed race person, half newman, half beast. His father was a rogue, and it isn't said what happened to his mother. He is resentful of his father for being a rogue, because he dumped him in a state-run orphanage on Moatoob. Faori admires Ethan at times, and feels he is someone you can really talk to. Eventually, he mentions that being half newman, half beast is no good at all, because all he got out of it were both races' weak points. (Meaning he has pooerer concentration, and less physical strength) In the end, he decides to try and get work/live at the Communion of Gurhal.

This somewhat schemeing old man can be found in Gawik's Pub. He is at first, depressed with his life and wants to give up. Later on, he's convinced to keep on trying. What he decides to try is making money. He used to be a Lunga Liver salesman, and wants to try it again. Fortunatly, new laws prohibit selling Lunga parts, as these interesting creatures are somehow resistant to SEED infection, unlike all other animals. Since he's no longer depressed, he vows to keep on trying.
